Potable Water Distribution Improvement

Potable Water Distribution Improvement

Published by

This project showcases our proficiency in water infrastructure enhancement. This project entailed laying down 25,000 feet of 4-inch HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) fused water pipes. The primary aim was to upgrade the main water lines in the Arabian Acres neighborhood of Divide, Colorado, along with establishing additional connections to existing pipelines. Faced with the challenge of unidentified utility locations, we employed a vac-truck for potholing to accurately locate them. The project area presented a tough landscape, characterized by steep, rocky terrain, which made the excavation process challenging. The necessity for this upgrade stemmed from the original wells’ failure to satisfy the community’s water needs. Upon completion, we achieved a significant milestone with the city’s water reservoir reaching and maintaining full capacity. Effective communication with the community and local officials was key to the project’s successful outcome.
